Interest Calculation

Interest calculations are based on the Kaldan National Bank’s credit scoring model. The score ranges from 0 – 1000. The adjustment of the calculation is (1000-C)/100. This means if the credit score is 500, then the calculation for interest adjustment is as follows
1000-500 = 500
500/100 = 5

If a loan is 4%, then you would add 5% to the loan base, for a total of 9%. This means it is possible to have an adjustment of 0% if the credit score is 1000. This is important as all creditor institutions will be required by law to use this formula in deciding interest, and they must provide the base of the product. This means the customer will be able to have a better comparison of the products offered to them.
