Credit Card

A credit card is a revolving credit line that is very popular in the world. The issuer provides a credit line, and the consumer will acquire whatever they want in the confines of that total credit limit. The consumer will then pay the card back with interest. Most credit card systems will be Mastercard, or VISA. This is however much different from a debit card. A debit card depends on what is already the consumer’s as far as money goes. They buy something, and the available purchasing power goes down until they receive a deposit.

No Credit Card will be allowed to have a magnetic strip. For usage, there will be an NFC capability and/or EMV chip. This will provide a secured transaction that can not be hacked by a bad actor. If the bad actor receives a payment code, it is no good to them as it is only intended for that one company and at that one purchase. A new code is generated even if another purchase was made at the same store a minute later. By eliminating the magnetic strip, it protects the consumer from having their card details hacked.
